Our journey and passion
When Maya our first Bernedoodle joined our family, we quickly recognised her special soul. She integrated seamlessly, displaying natural, tactful behaviour with both other dogs and children.
Bernedoodle's started in America in 2003, but the UK is significantly behind, lacking consistency in type. This inspired me to consider how I could provide families with a loving, loyal companion that is good for allergy sufferers, yet not intimidating or pushy. I carefully selected dogs with a clear vision in mind, my experience and qualifications in animal science and welfare have guided me in finding dogs that I believe will create the best of this hybrid crossbreed.

special?
We believe in integrating our dogs into every aspect of life, exposing them to a wide range of enriching activities. This approach helps create a "bomb-proof" dog that can adapt and adjust without experiencing high levels of stress. All our dogs undergo rigorous DNA screening, hip testing and eye testing to ensure their health and well-being as best we can.
When we breed a litter, we focus on one litter at a time, providing our undivided care and attention. We offer enrichment both indoors and outdoors, building their confidence while establishing boundaries, routine and giving them an abundance of love, They socialise with all our pack and our cats.
To ensure traceability and monitor the health of our growing puppies, every pup we breed is hybrid registered, protecting future generations and helping preventing inbreeding.
At English Bernedoodles, our dogs are pets first and foremost. Their quality of life is the most important factor in everything we do, Having an occasional litter is a privilege. Health is also paramount, as only happy, healthy dogs should be bred. These values guide every decision we make, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our beloved Bernedoodles.
